Cystic Acne Treatment with Accutane

Acne in any form is psychologically de-motivating and painful. Forms of Acne include small whiteheads, red projection in the skin – Acne Vulgaris, and the severest form of acne – Cystic Acne.  Severe Cystic Acne must be treated with utmost care, because any form of treatment that is not suitable for the particular skin type, or has a side effect, can be extremely damaging for the skin, as it can further increase the problem, and then all other normal treatments would be worthless.

Cystic Acne must be kept in check during the early stages of the problem, and the person should immediately consult a medical practitioner or a skin care expert when any kind of increase or development is noticed in the infection. If not catered to in the early stages, the problem can get so severe that even the strongest antibiotics will take months to reduce the problem. Taking heavy dozes of such strong medicines would result in other problems in the body, and the system would become to strong medicines.

Experts have determined that the main cause of formation of the pustules of cystic acne is extra oil secretion by the skin glands. This is generally the result of other problems as the clogging of skin pores, dirt on the skin etc. Scientists and researchers have yet not been able to determine a sure shot remedy for cystic acne for all skin types. The treatments and cures are just based on results from past partially successful experiments and judgments. This is why, there are so many acne products and cures available, and still the problem persists in individuals.

Accutane is a very popular medicine, chemical used in cystic acne treatment. However if over used, it can result in the drying of whole of the skin, and chipped skin fragments. Accutane also has some other side effects. It can cause pain in the muscles and make you weak.
