Causes of Cystic Acne

Understanding the root cause of acne helps a great deal in its treatment. Acne is ordinarily referred to as pimples or red and swollen pustules on the surface of the skin. Acne, is more common on the facial skin, and develops mainly because of bacteria and dirt which gets clogged in the skin pores. Blackheads are formed, and then if not clean, they lead to development of pimples. Acne can be either mild or very severe, it depends, on the type of skin, and the way the skin is handled during a breakout. Generally people take unnecessary medications, only to aggravate the breakout. Gradually they result in permanent scars and freckles on the skin.

Cystic Acne gets its name because of the cysts that develop within the skin, under the swollen pustules. They are filled with pus. If it is scratched or picked, it results in dark scars. Cystic Acne is the most severe form of Acne.

The easiest and on of the most useful technique of getting rid of cystic acne or acne vulgaris, is using the clear skin methodology. If properly done, this method works the best, and helps in the reduction of acne as fast as possible, without having any kind of side effects on the affected skin. Specific chemicals and medicines are required for such treatments. One of the most important chemical which is needed in the treatment is Benzoyl Peroxide. However, it may be harsh on the skin if the quantity of the chemical in increased; therefore it is recommended that initially low the medicine should be applied in low dozes.

Medical Equipment required in the treatment of cystic acne, included just a cleanser. It should be kept in mind, that the cleanser should not be too dry, or rough, it should be quite gentle on the infected skin. The breakout will be further aggravated if the minimum oil content is taken away from the skin (i.e. skin is completely dried out.)
